Thomas leads Cary Oil as Chief Executive Officer and President, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience in the energy sector to guide the company into its next chapter. With a proven record of transforming organizations, his leadership is rooted in purpose, optimism, and a servant-hearted approach. He energizes teams, leads with clarity, and supports a culture where people are energized to do their best work.

Before joining Cary Oil, Thomas served in senior roles where he drove multi-year business transformations, negotiated major acquisitions, and grew EBITDA more than fourfold. He consistently delivered growth, efficiency, and performance improvements across sales, operations, supply, and logistics.

At Cary Oil, Thomas oversees all aspects of the business—fuel operations, sales and marketing, supply management, profit management, and capital allocation—ensuring long-term value for customers and shareholders, while creating meaningful growth opportunities for employees. He leads by empowering people and teams, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and ownership that drives innovation and growth,  while staying true to the values and legacy that have defined Cary Oil for over six decades.

Thomas is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Outside of work, he is an avid skier, golfer, and offshore fisherman, a passionate Buffalo Bills fan, and a participant in industry study groups and committees.
