R. Mark Maddox

Mark provides the overall direction and vision for the organization, setting long-term strategy and assessing potential acquisitions. He has held increasingly senior roles in his tenure at Cary Oil, including VP of Branded Marketing and COO.  Mark previously worked as Executive VP for Lee Moore Oil Company and VP of Operations for SPATCO Environmental Services.

Mark is very involved in the community, being part of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and serving as a Counselor and Volunteer for Young Life. He’s also the past Finance Director of Western Wake County.

Mark and his wife Lorenda have been married for over 30 years, have three grown children and a granddaughter who makes their world go ‘round.
